How do I contact CAMVAP?
CAMVAP stands for Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan. CAMVAP helps people who have issues with new vehicles. CAMVAP deals with disputes about new vehicle defects and warranties. “New vehicles” are no more than four years old and have less than 160,000 kms.
CAMVAP helps resolve new vehicle disputes through arbitration. Arbitration is a legal process, like a court. Both sides present information and a neutral decision maker decides the case (a “ruling”).
