My Self-Help

Resolution Starts Here

I have mechanical issues with my vehicle

Dealers must be sure vehicles meet legal standards at the time of sale. If you think the vehicle did not meet those standards, you may have to get an inspection. Inspections are done by designated facilities. Inspections cost money. If an inspection shows the vehicle did not meet legal standards at the time of the sale, the VSA can help.

Some mechanical problems may arise after the purchase of the vehicle. These problems are your responsibility, not the dealer’s. The VSA cannot help with these issues.
