Help with safety-related defects
There are things you can do about safety-related defects.
The first is to try resolve the dispute directly with the manufacturer.
If this does not work, you can contact Transport Canada. The Defect Investigations and Recalls Division of Transport Canada takes safety-related complaints. Manufacturers may be required to issue recalls of all vehicles affected.
